NCD Alliance welcomes this opportunity to provide comments on the key priority areas in the WHO-Director General’s report to catalyse urgent action and attention by Member States and stakeholders. To build on existing recommendations we have reviewed the NCD-GAP mid-point evaluation from WHA74 [2] in 2021, which noted recommendations for each NCD-GAP objective. The EB154 NCD report [3] and the EB154 complementary comprehensive overview [4] on NCDs from February 2024 has provided insight into the status on progress.
