This Global Forum on Human Rights and a Tobacco-Free World, to be held in Romania on 26th March, is a unique and historic event will bring together global leaders in human rights and public health to discuss ways to advance worldwide efforts to combat the tobacco epidemic.
The Global Forum on human rights and a tobacco-free world is meant to bring together global leaders in human rights and public health to come to an agreement on moving toward the end of the tobacco epidemic. The event is cohosted by the Romanian President Klaus Iohannis and will be attended by the head of the WHO FCTC Secretariat Vera da Costa e Silva, EU commissioner Andriukaitis, academics such as Steve Marks from Harvard, representatives from UN agencies, and CEOs of leading health organisations.
