Ahead of the World Health Organization's 72nd World Health Assembly (WHA72), the NCD Alliance is pleased to release its Advocacy Briefing Paper outlining noncommunicable disease (NCD) prevention and control priorities throughout the agenda of WHA72.

The Advocacy Briefing for WHA72 includes consideration of NCDs as a priority in their own right, as well as NCDs in the context of Universal Health Coverage, WHO budget and involvement of non-state actors.

NCD related events

NCDA will be hosting several events during the WHA and look forward to welcoming you there. Our main event on 20 May is at capacity. But it will be livestreamed on Facebook at facebook.com/ncdalliance.

Two high-level panels comprising government ministers, leaders of health and development agencies, people living with NCDs and youth will be challenged to re-think global health in the lead up to the UN High-Level Meeting on UHC to best ensure we truly achieve Health for All.
