Prior to next week’s drafting session for the outcome document of the Third International Conference on Financing for Development, the co-facilitators are holding informal hearings at the UN with the Business Sector and Civil Society to gather their views on financing and reactions to the Zero Draft of the outcome document.

The Business Sector hearings were held today, 8 April, and included opening remarks by the Secretary-General and the Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce. The Civil Society hearings are tomorrow, 9 April, with a draft program available on the Financing for Development website.

The NCD Alliance will continue to be actively engaged in promoting strong outcomes for health and NCD financing within the preparations for FfD, as well as at conference in Addis (13-16 July).
