Movendi International, supported by NCD Alliance and FDI World Dental Federation, welcomes and endorses the WHO Global Alcohol Action Plan.
The statement calls on Member States and the Secretariat to resource implementation of the action plan; ensure biannual review of implementation at the WHO governing bodies; launch an inter-agency initiative for public health oriented alcohol taxation; and develop approaches to cross-border alcohol marketing issues.
