Eastern Mediterranean NCD Alliance (EM-NCDA) hosted a series of webinars to promote a people-centred NCD response in the region and to share stories from people living with NCDs during COVID-19.
Young leaders mobilise during lockdown in Sri Lanka to deliver life-saving treatment

The COVID-19 pandemic has not spared Sri Lanka and the government imposed a curfew for the entire country on 20 March 2020. After a week, health facilities experienced a shortage in the supply of essential medicines. NCD Alliance Lanka have mobilised their network to assess the needs and ensure people living with Type 1 diabetes continue to access their life-saving treatment.
NCD Atlas - Bridging the Gap on NCDs through Civil Society Action

To showcase NCD civil society efforts in bridging the gap on NCDs, and to coincide with the third Global NCD Alliance Forum 2020 taking place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the NCD Alliance has developed the ‘NCD Atlas - Bridging the Gap on NCDs through Civil Society Action: Initiatives of National and Regional NCD Alliances’ publication.
