Description
Our first NCD Trailblazers webinar focused on cervical cancer using a silo-busting policy approach to this issue, which cuts across NCDs, PMNCH, HIV, SRHR and UHC – leaving no one behind, taking a lifecourse approach from prevention to palliation, and ensuring women’s and youth rights.
Watch the recording to hear from NCDA, UICC, American Cancer Society, The George Institute and ‘Our Views, Our Voices’ advocates about the implementation of recommended policy interventions to end cervical cancer, and on how to support WHO’s development of the elimination strategy.
The topic links last year’s UN HLM on NCDs with this year’s HLM theme of Universal Health Coverage, and will be on the agenda for discussion at World Health Assembly in May 2019.
